3D Youth Model: Dialogue, Discussion and Debate

"3D youth Model: Dialogue, Discussion and Debate"were a training course addressed to youth workers and leaders that want to improve their work with young people that are facing situations bringing to exclusion.The idea was - to put youth dialog, discussion and debate in daily life of youth in local communities by more effective work of youth workers; to increase active participation of youth, facing different types of social exclusion.In the 8 days of the course, the 30 youth workers /from 9 partners's organizations/ coming from 7 EU countries and Turkey and Croatia as well, were talking about development and implementation of national/local youth policies in their countries, regarding specific target groups in risk of social exclusion. They've shared their experience, difficulties and obstacles, best practices, tips and points of views about the topic of social inclusion/exclusion.The whole TC will were based on non formal education, using methods such as group discussions, debate, round tables, role plays, and different activities stimulating the creativity of young people.Aim of the TCTo empower the role of youth workers and their organizations, for the process of involvement of youth, facing exclusion, in the life of local communityObjectivesThe overall objective is to develop and improve the debate, discussion and dialogue at local and European level concerning youth exclusion, and understanding between young people, regardless their ethnical, cultural, economical and social background.The specific objectives of the project are:- to explore the different faces and phases of exclusion - individual and structural, the reasons that lead to it, and the ways to fight against it- to improve the active participation of young people, making them agents of change in the society, increase their influence in decision making process. - to provide youth leaders and workers with new knowledge and skills to facilitate the fluid integration in the society of young people coming from backgrounds that led them to being excluded- to share best practices, ideas, difficulties, obstacles and challenges in the matter of youth participation as an instrument of inclusion- to underline the role of the Youth in Action Programme as a tool to include youngsters coming from exclusion contexts in the life of their countries and the EU
