The project's title was ""2 Week Course for European Teachers of English at Secondary Level focus on Wales."" The aim was to improve skills in methodology, using new technologies like the interactive whiteboards and tablets. The advanced language practice and the new developments in the English language lessons were a perfect opportunity to bring the language skills up to date. Welsh literature, modern and poetry by Dylan Thomas was very interesting. The International Study Programmes Institutes provide international renowed teachers who have worked together for several years. For our New Middle School it is very important to get new ideas of how to teach mixed ability groups and offer new methodology for larger language groups than we had before. Ms Bubendorfer has been teaching English for several years and has already taken part in another methodoloy course in London next to many other day-courses in Austria. Ms Bubendorfer and another teacher she met on one of these courses offer teacher training seminars to teachers in Upper Austria and Salzburg. Their seminars are called ""Creative Methodology in your Classroom"". The PH-Oberösterreich and the PH-Salzburg organise these courses. To sum up, as headteacher of the NMS-Strobl, I am sure that the effects of these courses are going to improve the language teaching on our school.
