Activities of NCP Lithuania in 2016 period will mainly concentrate on the followings priorities: III. Informing and guiding stakeholders; IV. Adapting the EQF to new developments, including international sectorial qualifications and learning outcomes. The main general objectives are to facilitate and improve the cooperation of stakeholders and various actors that play a role in the implementation of EQF recommendation in Lithuania, to further work on the promotion of LTQF/EQF for stakeholders and wider public in general. Lithuanian NCP will continue close cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science, Trade unions, representatives of employer organizations, and other stakeholders in relation to the implementation of LTQF. NCP staff will participate in NCP meetings, and related international events. For bringing more transparency in the qualification framework implementation 2 studies are to be prepared: 1) survey about general education qualifications in other countries, 2) survey of terms used in the context of qualification frameworks in Lithuania in order to contribute to comparative survey on terminology used in Baltic countries. Lithuanian NCP is taking part of the Baltic NCP network working on the idea towards producing a Baltic joint-glossary in 4 languages (EN, LV, LT, EE). NCP staff and other experts (authors of modular VET programmes and qualifications standards) will improve their knowledge about the concept of qualifications frameworks, overview of existing national and international qualifications frameworks, using and creating new qualifications descriptors based on LTQF/EQF. NCP Lithuania will carry on dissemination activities in relation to the implementation of LTQF, and produce promotional materials, organise regional dissemination seminars in order to reach the wide audience across the country – targeting directly operational partners.
