This project includes two actions, first action is "Αpprenticeship" and the second concerns staff (OpenDigiGeoGraph_Staff).The action "Apprenticeship" concerns a 15 students apprenticeship plan of 1st EPAL Stavropolis. All students's specialities come from the Technological Sector. There are also two accompanying teachers. The action will take place in Madrid, Spain, in a 26 days program in business internships, in the field of study of each student and further training of 40 hours in entrepreneurship and "startup a business". Specifically, the topics will be market analysis, business plan development, best practices, funding sources, case studies, introduction to e-business, etc.Action's "Apprenticeship" aims are:• to understand the world of work, as participants will become familiar with the organization and operation of modern production units• to understand the effects and consequences of business and production activity, in the society, the environment and the person itself• to develop entrepreneurship, which together with the initiative, is currently classified among the eight key competences for lifelong learning• to acquire new skills so that they can, as future workforce, adapt to new conditions and potential career shifts, to tackle unemployment and to be productive in their work• to promote critical thinking, initiative, creativity and skills• to improve their foreign language skills, for a broader understanding and responding to the social, linguistic and cultural diversityAccordingly, the action of teachers training, involves 12 teachers of IT specialties, Structural Engineering and Geomatics, and Graphic Arts, in a 42 hours training in Geographic Information Systems, including professional visits. The aims of this action are:- studying the applicable international methods and established Open GIS software systems and their teaching- Improve skills and competencies in their sector- raise the knowledge and experience of the cooperative partners in a country that actively participates in open source GIS networks- the acquisition and improvement of skills and competencies in graphic imaging Specific objectives of the two actions are:• to provide initial vocational training• the connection of Vocational Education with the labor market • dealing with new technologies and innovative measures• growing team spirit, acquiring useful experience, strengthening confidence and creativity of participants• improve their language skills in English• acquaintance with the culture of Spain • certification of acquired knowledge in Spain • the transfer of know-how and good practices in our countryThe expected impact for all the participants, concerns mainly the application of new objects that they will be taught and practiced. It also strengthens the European dimension of education, knowledge of new educational systems , which will give impulses and reflections on new perspectives in the provision of education.The expected results of this activity are summarized as follows :• as far as students are concerned, to widen their knowledge horizons, to educate them in entrepreneurship and practical application, to obtain the Europass and Youthpass certificates and also the certification of knowledge acquired through the use of ECVET• concerning social knowledge and skills of students, by developing their socialization, acquisition experience, participation in educational and cultural activities • concerning the teachers, the opportunity to participate in an innovative educational process and bring them in contact with education and entrepreneurship in a foreign country.The products of mobility, both intellectually and materially:- will be directly applied to the learning process- will contribute to improve the quality and innovation of the provided educational materials to students- will support the learning process both in school but also in future-life, and thus will achieve the school's goal of supporting lifelong learningThe action "Apprenticeship" will be held in Madrid, Spain and will last 28 days. The action "OpenDigiGeoGraph_Staff" will be held in Sevilla, Spain for 12 days.
