- 30+ year experience in biodiversity conservation (in-situ and ex-situ): Ecosystem services quantification, Rangelands, Wetlands, Protected Areas and National Parks Planning and Management; Buffer Zones Management; Wildlife Management, Reintroductions, Animal production and Health, Pastoralism management and conflict resolution.
- Decentralization in Natural Resources Management: Land Use planning. Institutional development and national policies in NRM. Sustainable development and conservation-based income generating activities for communities. Ecotourism development. Waste recycling.
- REDD+ and Climate change adaptation
- Environment Strategic Assessments, Environmental Impact Assessment, Results based monitoring and evaluation (M&E), PCM.
- Animal pathology and Sanitary Surveys, Hygiene.
- Over 20 year experience in Africa, 7 zears in SOuth East Asia, plus Middle East. Latin AMerica, Oceania
- Experience with organisations responsible for environmental management: IGAD (Horn of Africa), SADC, ICCN, IUCN, WWF
- Experienced in communication and facilitation of consultations
- Fluent in written and spoken English
