Applicants are requested to read carefully the following documents:

Terms of Reference for the 1st Call for Proposals for Urban Innovative Actions

UIA Guidance

Application Form working document

In particular, applicants are strongly advised to read the UIA Guidance (click here) where they can find details on the overarching rules of the UIA Initiative.

The Terms of Reference and the Application Form working document are available in all European languages (here below). However, as the Permanent Secretariat is not in a position to proof read all translated versions, the English versions of both documents are to be considered as the reference.

The procedure for the submission of the Application Form is outlined in the Terms of Reference. Applicants shall create and submit their Applications Form online through the Electronic Exchange Platform (EEP). The EEP will be available at least 1 month before the end of the Call via an internet link included on this page.

The Application Form working document is available so that applicants can start familiarizing themselves with it and drafting responses to the questions in the Application Form.

It is strongly recommended that applicants fill in the Application Form in clear English, although it may also be submitted in any of the official EU languages. It should be noted that the Strategic and Operational Assessment of the Application Forms submitted will be done on the basis of the English version (to be translated in English by an external service provider contracted by the Permanent Secretariat (PS) in case the Application Form is submitted in another language). The quality of the translation can not be guaranteed.
