OCEANERA-NET COFUND Cofunded Joint Call 2017

APPEL À PROJET CLÔTURÉ

The first OCEANERA-NET COFUND Joint Call opens on 20th March 2017. The call will have a total budget of €17 million and provide grant funding for transnational, collaborative projects to demonstrate and validate innovative technologies for ocean energy.

Funding will be available for applicants in the following countries / regions:

• Basque Country (Spain)
• Brittany (France)
• Ireland
• Pays de la Loire (France)
• Scotland (UK)
• Spain
• Sweden 

Partners from other countries may participate in projects but will need to provide their own funding.

Projects should be industry led, must involve a minimum of 2 independent organisations from 2 different countries, involve demonstration and be completed within 3 years. This will be a two Stage call, with the deadline for Stage 1 at the end of May and selection of projects by the end of 2017.

The key dates for the call are:

• Call Opens - 20th March 2017
• Briefing and brokerage event - Seanergy, Le Havre, 22-23 March 2017
• Information and brokerage event - Bilbao Marine Energy Week, 30 March 2017
• Step 1 (Pre-proposal) deadline - 26 May 2017
• Step 2 (Full proposal) deadline - 8 September 2017
• Notification of applicants - January 2018
• Project start - from January 2018
