What is it for:
This Action supports:
Supporting the implementation of the European Week of Sport aiming at promoting health enhancing physical activity and increasing participation levels in sports.
This Action provides financial support for the organisation of European-wide sport events in one Programme Country and events organised during to the European Weak of Sport.
In addition, it may finance national events - organised simultaneously in several European countries by not-for-profit organisations or public bodies - in the context of European events in the field of sport.

Who can benefit from it:
Support for events will imply assigning EU grants to individual organisations in charge of the preparation, organisation and follow-up to a given event.
The transnational element of the action will be ensured by the participation in the event of sportspeople coming from at least twelve Programme Countries and from at least three Programme Countries for events related to the European Week of Sport.

What support is available:
An amount of 600.000 EUR is dedicated to events linked exclusively to the European Week of Sport. 1.400.000 EUR to the other events.
Financial contributions from the EU cannot exceed 80% of the total eligible costs of the project.
Who can apply:
Any public body or not-for-profit organisation active in the field of sport, established in a Programme Country can apply from the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of Sport. For example, such organisation can be (non-exhaustive list):

Register in the Participant Portal and receive a Participant Identification Code (PIC) if you do not already have one.
All organisations participating in the proposal must have a PIC number. The PIC will be requested in the application form.

All project proposals are assessed by the Executive Agency receiving the application, exclusively on the basis of the criteria described in the Erasmus+ Programme Guide

What happens if your application is selected
What happens if your application is selected:
All applicants will receive a written notification of the outcome of the selection procedure as well as feedback on the evaluation of their application. For applications that have been selected for EU co-financing the EACEA will contact the applicants if any further action is required before awarding the contract. EACEA will produce a grant agreement detailing the conditions and the level of co-funding.
