Dr Michalis Koutinas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering in Cyprus University of Technology leading the Environmental Bioprocessing Laboratory. He studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Patras (2001) and has 18 years of experience in research and academic activities in the field of Environmental Bioprocessing. He holds a PhD (2002-2006) in Biochemical Engineering from Imperial College London (UK), where he also worked for 4 years as a Post-Doc (2007-2011).
