Marta Oliveira has PhD on Sustainable Chemistry (Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto and Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Nova University of Lisbon) and is an integrated member of REQUIMTE - Associated Laboratory for Green Chemistry (LAQV; ). Since 2016 she has deepened her knowledge in public and occupational exposure to health-hazadous pollutants and the associated health risks. On March 2019, she started as junior researcher at REQUIMTE-LAQV-ISEP with a research topic that is unique at REQUIMTE-LAQV (PSESP-Public Scientific Employment Stimulus Program; CEECIND/03666/2017). As young researcher (h-index of 15; Scopus database), she is the PI of the project 4FirHealth-Firefighting occupational exposure and early effects on the health of operational forces and collaborates in 2 ongoing projects (BioFirEx: A panel of (bio)markers for the surveillance of firefighter's health and safety and Honey+:New reasons to care honey from the Natural Park of Montesinho: A bioindicator of environmental quality and its therapeutic potential); she also collaborated in 4 other projects. She was invited to be the editor of 2 special issues (; ) and 1 book in her research field. She is also the (co)author of 30 indexed papers (26 Q1: 7 at TOP 5% and 13 at TOP 10%; JCR ranking), 13 book chapters, 3 indexed abstracts, 14 short papers in conference proceedings (4 with scientific arbitration), 20 oral and more than 60 poster communications in international/national conferences. She acts as a reviewer for several international indexed journals, including Journal of Hazardous Materials, Environmental Pollution, Trends in Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Research, among others. She is the co-supervisor of 1 PhD and 3 master students and collaborates in several events of promotion and dissemination of science among young researchers.
