The project addresses to the "Improvement of accessibility and flow of information in the broder area" objective of the "Environment and Nature Protection" priority as its main objectives are:to create permanent information sources aiming at supporting professionally the cross-border cooperationto share the experiences of best practices among the local stakeholders in the border areato start to develop a database for professionalsto strengthen the regular internal cooperation crossing the border.Through the realisation of the above mentionned objectives the project is to improve the flow of information in the border area. Sharing good practices results in new initiatives and it strengthens the competitiveness and attractiveness of the region. Through the proliferation of the cooperation the project helps to break down the mental frontiers which is the base of a higher level of cooperation and a better understanding between the parties from both countries.In addition to this, the results of the project will be accessible in Hungarian and Slovak. Achievements: Within the project, the partners analysed the results of the Hungarian-Slovak cross-border programmes carried out so far from the point of view of the sustainability of the projects. 10 best practice projects have been chosen and presented through a magazine, films and DVDs. A knowledge portal has been developed which contains a wide range of information on cross-border cooperation along the common border.
