The FEM Conference and the Association is an instrument for networking and shall be developed further so it has real significance in promoting the mining industry in the programme area. The main purpose with Fennoscandia Exploration and Mining 2009 project is to create or find an organisation/association which can continue with the FEM conferences in the future without considerable public finance.
