Lieksanjoki River is a river that fl ows into Lake Pielinen. A majority of the water sources of the river are from the Russian side of the border. Th is project was a sub-project according to the framework programme Lake Salmon of Pielinen to the River Lieksanjoki. Th e project aimed at creating a lake salmon image and at safeguarding the diversity and natural life cycle of the species concerned. ...
