n the future, we envision a world powered entirely by clean, sustainable energy. We believe that solar and wind can power all of our homes, vehicles and businesses via the electrical grid - while also feeding the production of green fuels to drive heavy industry and commercial transport.
Through the continual development and innovation of the last few decades, renewable energy investment is now the most cost-effective and sustainable choice. Solar PV is already the world’s cheapest electricity source, wind power will soon be less expensive than nuclear, coal- and gas-fired generation across Europe, and utility-scale batteries and zero-emission fuels are set to achieve cost parity within just ten years. To fully realise this sustainable future, the world needs to invest 1,000 billion Euro into renewable energy assets and electricity networks over the next three decades.
