João Pedro Silva is an environmental expert with more than 25 years' experience in EU’s nature and biodiversity policy implementation and funding (LIFE).and on Preserving and restoring ecosystems and biodiversity (including nature based solutions that provide co-benefits for climate adaptation and mitigation) via (Horizon Europe and Geen Deal);
He is also an expert in contract Support to the assessment of the climate ambition of Rural CAP Strategic Plans for DG Climate Action and DG ENV. João is an also an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA and SEA) evaluator of projects and EU funding programmes (Interreg and Rural Development programmes).
