A propos

The European Labour Institute /ELI/ was established in June 2002 as an NGO. Its team is composed of architects, civil engineers, HVAC engineers, electrical and of automations ones, IT specialists, ecologists - 15 persons. They all have strong professional background – both academic and practical. The main activities of the institute are: investigations, know –how and technology transfer, projects’ development and implementation, consultancies and training in the field of RES and energy efficiency  -energy.com

ELIs’ team took part in a series of EU projects under FP6, FP7, Intelligent Energy Europe, South-East Transnational Program ( with the project MILD HOME which is in the finalists of the REGIO Starts’2015),  Norway mechanism, Erasmus+ etc.

The team of the Institute has delivered trainings to more than 1000 energy professionals: from SMEs and public institutions on “RES and Energy Efficient Buildings” topics as well as to academicians on How to implement the new scientific energy technologies in the industry. Experts of the Institute have elaborated the European model for vocational training of electrical installers, building specialists and HVAC technicians.

Publications:

-   A step - by-step Guideline for households at national level to make the homes more energy independent and efficient;

-   A study: Energy Efficient planning of residential territories;

-   A Guide: How to build an Eco Green Village with MILD HOMEs;

-   A Guideline for market facilitators of energy efficient services

The Institute works in collaboration with: the Bulgarian Chambers of commerce and industry, the network of the Municipalities, the Bulgarian Academy of Science, the Association of the architects and the civil engineers in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Household Association, the Agency for sustainable energy development, the Universities for civil engineering and architecture,  the Ministry for regional development etc.

It is a member of the: European Urban Knowledge network, Smart Specialization Platform, Union of Concerned Scientists ( Science for a healthy planet and safer world).
